Back when the first frost produced this nature unique art, the frost flower. Once again I chose this photo for my best in 2024 because of the uniqueness of it and not being able to get another shot like it. I have many that are better and more colorful but I like to chose the shot that cannot be duplicated 30 minutes later this is gone forever in the wild.

I had a great stack of matches on my desk, was moving it to my table to shoot this and it got messed up several matches slid out of place, so I scooped up the strays and put them back in. This time it was not so pretty with red and green alternating, this time it was like a binary code of red = 1 and green = 0. All was fun in the build 😊
Iceberg lettuce leaf. Shot with the Laowa 65mm F/2.8, in the 2:1 macro mode the focus is so shallow, but was able to get between the veins in a lettuce leaf. Maybe next time a F/11 and 10 seconds on the shutter.
