After the demise of the two 18 class Alcos, Balco chose to hire from CFCLA and GL108 became a regular for a number of years on the service. On 17-2-10, GL108 has just arrived at Pelican Point from Bowmans and has just started the run around process to push the loading into the container terminal.

While on hire to run the Qube container service between Horsham and Melbourne, CFCLA loco GL104 is stabled in the old Horsham yard on 6-3-13.
The yard and goods shed have now all been demolished with a new yard built at Dooen to the east of Horsham, serviced by SCT

Built on the frame of Alco unit 44230, GL104 was remanufactured by UGL at Broadmeadow as one of the 12 GL class for CFCLA. GL104 entered service in November 2003 named as Jezabeel after a Melbourne cup Winner.
On 6-2-13 GL104 was stabled in the Horsham yard waiting to take the Qube service to Melbourne.

5MC1 goods departs Dynon and crosses the Marybronong River bridge with triple GL class locomotives GL110,GL107,GL105 on 28-2-13.
GL110 entered service on 19-4-2004, rebuilt from former Alco 44215. It was named after Melbourne cup winner Tawriffic

GL107 Stands at the Islington SCT depot on 11-1-07 while on spot hire to SCT at the time.
GL107 was built in January 2004 using frame from ex BHP Alco 102, originally owned by NSWGR as 44233 and named Rogan Josh after a Melbourne cup winning horses.

On 1-9-14 GL108 heads through industrial Osborne on 1418 to Bowmans.

Now a common occurrence, it was a rare occasion on 23-4-14 when GL108 pulled into SCT's Penfield depot alongside SCT002 and another SCT. I can't recall the reason why it happened
