Set up the camera in the barn after finding owl pellets there. This was the only footage obtained over a two week period in December. Tyto alba.

Tierpark Sababurg has a new walk-in aviary. Three barn owls, two tawny owls and four pheasants now share a flat and seem to enjoy it very much. When I walked in this barn owl was so engrossed in watching the pheasants strutting around that at first it didn't really notice me. It was only after a few minutes that its head turned round and it looked at me with an expression that seemed to say "What are you doin' in here, mate?". :o)
