I'm a right-handed person, and a right-brain thinker, but for some reason, I've always thought of myself as a left-footed person. Some people are said to have two left feet, but that's not me. I have always favored my left foot when doing anything that requires using your feet. So, when wanting to do my best, I'll always put my best (left) foot forward.

Ruth 1:6-7 (NLT)
6 Then Naomi heard in Moab that the Lord had blessed his people in Judah by giving them good crops again. So Naomi and her daughters-in-law got ready to leave Moab to return to her homeland. 7 With her two daughters-in-law she set out from the place where she had been living, and they took the road that would lead them back to Judah.
DRAWING NOTES:
TIME OF DAY:
I have set the scene in the early morning.
LIGHTING NOTES:
The early morning sun is gently lighting this scene, casting feint shadows to the right of figures and objects.
CHARACTERS PRESENT:
In the foreground we can see Naomi (in green head scarf) waving to the crowd of well-wishers. To her right is Ruth and behind them both is Orpah All three are carrying their belongings in large sacks, slung over their shoulders.
RESEARCH/ADDITIONAL NOTES:
This scene is set just outside an un-named Moabite walled town. Naomi & the girl’s friends and family are waving goodbye to the trio, as they set out back to Israel.

Glencoe is a village in western Scotland. It lies in steep-sided Glencoe valley, in the Scottish Highlands. The area is known for waterfalls and trails that climb peaks such as Buachaille Etive Mor and Bidean nam Bian. In the village, Glencoe Folk Museum occupies 18th-century thatched cottages, with displays on local heritage and the Glencoe massacre of 1692. Wildlife in the area includes red deer and golden eagles.
Lagangarbh Hut is situated north of Buachaille Etive Mor near the River Coupall (NN 2207 5597). It is owned by the National Trust for Scotland, and has been occupied and maintained by the Club since 1946. It was extensively refurbished in 1994.
There is limited parking at the bottom of the rough access track, near the footbridge over the Coupal River.
The hut provides accommodation for 20 persons. Six places are reserved each weekend for Members and their guests. Heating and cooking are by propane gas and electricity, lighting is electric. The hut has drying room, toilets and a shower.
Lagangarbh Barn is located immediately behind the main hut and offers quieter accommodation for 10 persons.
Lagangarbh Hut has a fee of £15 per person per night.
The hut was originally a crofting home, typically with central entrance hall and stairs ahead, two rooms up and down, left and right. The roofing is still the local Ballachulish slate which covered much of Scottish housing; check out the huge quarry at Ballachulish. The walls are of thick stone, built to withstand the battering of gales. The Club planted a shelter belt of trees to the west, from whence roar in the prevailing south-westerlies.
Choose the right bunk space and you will be rewarded with a unique view of one of Scotland's best mountains - Buachaille Etive Mor.
