I was very delighted to find this little guy searching around in the leaves for food! This was the first time I had ever seen a baby White Squirrel! He was at least half the size of an adult squirrel. I didn't want to scare him off so,I stayed at a distance to just enjoy watching him. I took a few shots and backed away from so he wouldn't run away. So,nice to see this little one!

After watching the previous White Squirrel crawl high up in a Beech to insulate her nest with a mouth full of leaves, further down the trail,I found this one. This squirrel had a walnut in it's mouth and was digging a little hole to burry it.After that,it gathered leaves to cover up the hole than it kept padding down the leaves with it's right and left paw to cover the evidence that anything was there. Only that squirrel would remember the location of it's buried treasure!

It was very windy just before the snow storm hit. This White Squirrel crawled up to this spot along the edge of a corn field. With it's tail flapping in the wind and it having to open and shut it's eyes continually because of the gale.It stayed up here until it was done eating.
