Ran into Maxi Glamour while I was out taking pictures and they were out canvassing. Thereby learned that Maxi is running for a seat in the city council representing the district I currently live in, and I get to vote for them before moving out. Neat!
In further good news, the offer on the house was accepted. So... Looks more likely that I'm about to buy a house
