The windmill in front is a Post Mill. This mill was built in 1665 in the city of Huizen (Amsterdam region). The mill was used as a grain mill until 1916. In 1919 the mill was moved to the Netherlands Open Air Museum in Arnhem, making it one of the first acquisitions for the then new museum. The mill is still in regular operation today.
The wndmill in the background is a Towermill or Smockmill.
This mill was built in 1685 in the city of Delft, located between Rotterdam and The Hague. In 1921 the mill was relocated to the Open Air Museum. This windmill is a stone flourmill measuring 27 metres in height. It houses six floors, each of which was used by the miller in his daily work.

De windmolen linksvoor is een Standerdmolen of Standaardmolen. Deze molen uit 1665 heeft oorspronkelijk in Huizen gestaan.
De molen deed tot 1916 dienst als graanmolen. In 1919 is de molen naar het Nederlands Openluchtmuseum in Arnhem verplaatst.
Het was een van de eerste aanwinsten voor het toen nieuwe museum. De molen is nog steeds in gebruik.
De molen op de achtergrond is een Stellingmolen.
Deze molen is in 1685 in Delft met de naam "Slikmolen" gebouwd.
In 1917 heeft de eigenaar (firma Calvé) de molen, toen "Het Fortuin" geheten laten afbreken en aan het Openluchtmuseum geschonken.
In 1922 was de herbouw gereed.
Deze windmolen met een hoogte van 27 meter werd vooral als korenmolen gebruikt. Het heeft zes verdiepingen, die elk door de molenaar werden gebruikt in zijn dagelijkse werk.
