Amazed by the Lit & Phil in Newcastle, the largest independent UK library outside of London.
Whilst there I viewed Landscapes of the American West full of outstanding monochrome photographs by Ansel Adams, which has inspired me to convert and post my recent images in black and white.

The Rising Tide by Jason DeCaires Taylor is on exhibit in Kvalsvik just north of Haugesund town centre. The Rising Tide was originally on exhibit in the River Thames, London. The four sculptures at Kvalsvik allude to the retired work houses while drawing attention to our continuous dependence on fossil fuels and the potential apocalyptic climate change this will result in. The questions they address are: Who is responsible, and where are we headed?
