The Rising Tide by Jason DeCaires Taylor is on exhibit in Kvalsvik just north of Haugesund town centre. The Rising Tide was originally on exhibit in the River Thames, London. The four sculptures at Kvalsvik allude to the retired work houses while drawing attention to our continuous dependence on fossil fuels and the potential apocalyptic climate change this will result in.
