Der morgendliche EZ 45360 von Cheb nach Nürnberg fährt häufig vor Plan, was das Fotografieren dieser Leistung außerhalb der längsten Tage schwierig macht. Am Morgen des 16.04.2025 war er "nur" mit -45 unterwegs und kam damit zeitlich perfekt für die ersten Sonnenstrahlen bei Ramlesreuth, kurz nach Kirchenlaibach gelegen. Angeführt wurde der fotogen zusammengestellte Zug von 232 254.
The EZ 45360 from Cheb to Nuremberg often runs ahead of schedule, making it difficult to photograph this train outside of the busiest days. On the morning of April 16, 2025, it was only 45 minutes early, arriving perfectly in time for the first rays of sunshine near Ramlesreuth, just after Kirchenlaibach. The photogenic train was led by 232 254.
Edinburgh Trams CAF Urbos 3 tram 254 is pictured at Ocean Terminal whilst working a service to Newhaven.
Rail Adventure owned HST Power Cars 43467 and 43423 are seen working 6Q55, taking brand new Nexus Class 555 EMUs 555011 (and 555010) north through Huntingdon, on April 10th 2025.
43467 was built at Crewe as 43067, entering service in October 1977 as part of set 254 006. She was renumbered in August 2010.
43423 was built at Crewe as 43123, entering service in April 1979. She was renumbered in April 2011.

Kaum ein anderer Transport sorgt in Deutschland für so viel Diskussion wie die Castortransporte, bei denen hoch radioaktive Abfälle befördert werden. Anfang April 2025 war es wieder so weit: Einige Behälter mit strahlendem Inhalt kamen aus Großbritannien und erreichten den Hafen von Nordenham mit dem Schiff. Von dort aus sollte der Transport per Bahn zum geplanten Zwischenlager auf dem Gelände des stillgelegten AKW Isar bei Wörth an der Isar weitergeführt werden. Der Zug wurde von zahlreichen Polizeikräften sowohl am Boden als auch aus der Luft gesichert. Nach einer längeren Standzeit in Fulda fuhr der besagte Zug um 6:18 Uhr ab. Nach mehreren Polizeikontrollen wurde der HILFZ 63103 von einigen Fotografen und unter Aufsicht der Polizei bei Rosenbach abgelichtet. Am Zugschluss befanden sich die DB 232 254 und DB 232 255.

March 31st 2025 saw a move of five withdrawn HST Power Cars for export south through Peterborough, traction was provided by a sixth HST Power Car, Rail Adventure's 43480.
The five power cars for export were (from the front) 43162, 43160, 43312, 43238 and 43319.

Baylor University is a private Baptist research university in Waco, Texas. It was chartered in 1845 by the last Congress of the Republic of Texas. Baylor is the oldest continuously operating university in Texas and one of the first educational institutions west of the Mississippi River in the United States. Located on the banks of the Brazos River, the university's 1,000-acre campus is the largest Baptist university in the world and is affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas.
As of Fall 2023, Baylor had a total enrollment of 20,824 students (15,155 undergraduate and 5,669 graduate). It is one of 146 U.S. universities classified among "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very High Research Activity". The university grants undergraduate and graduate degrees, including doctoral and professional degrees. Baylor University's athletic teams, known as the Bears and Lady Bears, participate in 19 intercollegiate sports. The university is a member of the Big 12 Conference in NCAA Division I.
The mural above is painted on one of the buildings in Downtown Waco and features Baylor along with an NCAA Championship trophy (for basketball) which was won in 2021 by the men's basketball program. Also included on the mural is a silhouette of the historic ALICO building, the Waco logo & area code, and silhouettes of the county courthouse clock tower, the historic Waco Suspension Bridge, and the Magnolia Silos.
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.
