More know for their Russian equipment, Avioimpex operated also MD and DC-9 aircraft towards the end of their existence. This one was taken over from Adria Airways in 1994 - now stored engineless at Naples, Italy.

Avioimpex was a small airline from Macedonia, founded in 1992, ceased flying in 2002.
The airframe started its life as YU-AHW of Inex-Adria, delivered in 1971.

This photo was taken by Fabian Schütz, who kindly granted me the rights of use. The photo was taken in September 1995 at Hamburg Airport. This Yakolev Yak-42, operated by Makedonija Airways, was leased from Avioimpex. This picture was taken from the old visitor terrace an the end of Terminal 1.
