With Test train 3Q82 which had run in early morning. It would appear that with the exta coach it had been put into what was originally the approach to the former engine sheds, and yard access line. Usually it stables all day in the lines uby the former platform 4. The original engine shed was where the levelled ground is behind the train, and the later shed is now behind the Ivy clad wall beyond the car park.

Replacing 56090 which went to Colwick after yesterday's run . A pleasant change to see a relatively clean loco. Just 2 runs left before the end of the RHTT diagram. (Weather permitting !)

Reports are 56078, 87,94,96, 105 and 113 are being withdrawn from servce.
56090 as the second loco.
After a heads up that 56113 had gone to the wheel lathe,56078 should have replaced it , but it failed, so 66846 came on as replacement, As 56113 has led for a while, it was logical to assume it would lead, and so it turned out ! First time I have seen a 66 on the RHTT !
The 5T67 awaits departure for Crewe.

Rare opportunity to get two trains alongside each other in Bangor Station.The 1A34 for Crewe and the 5T67 rescue mission for 67015.
The 1A34 Holyhead - Crewe arrives to be greeted by a large group of passengers, I suspect it would be standing room only as it proceeded along the Coast !!
The 5T67 arrives behind 67014 en route to Crewe. The 1W96 had arrived 38 late ,in Holyhead, on Wednesday night behind 67015 but had failed to appear on Thursday's early morning run to Cardiff. being replaced by 197113. Friday's early morning run was cancelled and 197105 brought the evening 1W96 back to Holyhead.
Power applied as 56113 crosses over to enter the 648 yd. Belmont Tunnel.
Running 47 late , and 59 on arrival at Holyhead, an 8 minute turnaround saw it away on time at 1209 !
Makes an appearance after a lenghty absence! While 56090 replaces 56302 on the rear of the 3S71 running 9 late. 56113 has had a number clean !!
The1W91 - Transport for Wales -Cardiff - Holyhead departs on time with 197108.
With an obscured 56113 on the rear. There was talk of 'wheel flats' on 302, Tuesday althiough it was not noticable yesterday.
However 56113 is solo today and running about 50 late !
