I've never done a film project before. I like the music, I like the plot, I can't stand how dark it is. The graphic at the end is cheesy. {and the order of the words coming in is tooootally screwed up}

This is a Buy 1 Get 1 Free commercial for Biggby. Yes, it's 1:13. It would probably be a web commercial more than anything. But I always get buy-1-get-1-free coupons and never know what to do with a free SECOND coffee since I'm always by myself and would have to bring a friend to get a free coffee. So I took a crazy idea and thought I'd show how a free Biggby coffee can start a chain of random acts of kindness, and eventually the old saying "what goes around comes around" rules. :]
But it was my first time working with Film, Actors, Final Cut Pro 7, etc.
So I'm proud of it. Proud of the fun I had making it with my friends, really. So there. I can do video. Not professionally. But I can.
Some folks have been fmailing me to ask for more details about my photography showcase during the Ann Arbor Art Fair. So here you go! The official flier. :)
My prints will be up on the walls of the Biggby Coffee shop on Liberty Street (right next to the Michigan Theater) in downtown Ann Arbor as of this Monday morning. I will be personally in the shop selling prints all day Wednesday through Saturday during Art Fair. So if you're local and planning on hitting up Art Fair this year, stop in and say hi! :)
My friend JP put it best. I order the "Why Bother". Sugar free, non fat, on ice (so it has 1/3 less than when drinks are served hot), but I love it. I really should just get iced coffee, but I know if I do that I'll complain that it's too bland. There's no pleasing me!

Another fun set of examples of etching! These were submitted by our store in Kenosha, WI by Autumn, Ashley, and Alicen--hmmm...might want to check this store out for unfairly A-name bias in the hiring process! ;)
