I bought this for the packaging and for the good memories of dining at Au Pied de Cochon almost two decades ago. This was good but I honestly just cannot really drink that much alcohol anymore. I think I ended up having half of this can.
"City Cider to the Core"
I spent the evening pushing our cider at the Greendale Farmshop Spring Tasting event. Everyone seemed to like it!
Frankie's mum & dad were working remotely from our house today, so Mike & I took Frankie to Crocodiles of the World. They have all sorts of creatures there, not just crocs, alligators and caimens: meerkats, clouded leopards, lizards, snakes, turtles, Galapagos tortoise, tamarins etc. Frankie wasn't too interested in most of the animals, but enjoyed seeing the crocs being fed. His main interests were the playgrounds and an ice-cream!
As we still had time to pass until his mum & dad finished work, we went to the playground in Witney for a while.
When the family were all packed up, and set off on thier long journey home, I had a little sit in my egg chair in the sunshine, then went for a walk around the village - stopping off at The Keepers for half a cider, which was just the job in the lovely sunshine! It was great to chat to various people on my walk.
Fancy dress and strong cider.
