In the background you can see il God da Tamangur, the Forest of Tamangur. At 2300 m a.s.l. it's the highest continuous stone pine forest in Europe and has become a symbol of the tenacity and strength of Romansh language and culture. On the trail crossing the forest my friend claimed that it felt like stepping into Tolkien's Fangorn Forest.
Das Tal oberhalb des Sommerdorfs S-charl mit dem Fluss Clemgia, einem Nebenfluss des Inns.
Auf der Strasse zwischen Plan d'Immez und dem Dorf. Auch wenn es hier nicht danach aussieht, es waren hier zahreiche Wanderer und Radfahrer unterwegs,
Bei Plan d'Immez erreichten wir nach der ziemlich beschwerlichen Durchquerung des Arvenwalds von Tamangur - es war über 30° heiss und der Weg war wegen Wurzeln und Steinen sehr uneben- das Fahrsträsschen nach S-charl.
