145 East London Ambassador 12400

12400 YX16OHS photographed at Ilford working route 145 towards Dagenham Asda.

12400 was one of few vehicles from the 53 to transfer to Barking as a result of the PVR cut of said route from the previous year. It was recently painted into this East London Ambassador livery, to celebrate Barking bus garage's centenary.

The Cross Keys

Cl5, timber framed hall house with gabled jettied cross wings. Two storeys, gable ends with exposed restored timber framing with leaded windows. Ground floor of whole of modern character with modern doors and windows. Old tile roof with central 3-light casement dormer with hipped roof. Panelled room inside, Cl7.
