A pair of former Conrail SD60s leads an empty coal train across the Port Perry Bridge into Duquesne, PA during a light snow flurry. The train will soon be making a left turn off the Port Perry Branch and onto the Mon Line as it brings the empties back to the mines for another load of coal.

Depending on your point of view, in the shadows of Kennywood Amusement Park, you may or may not find amusement.
If your part of the Union Railroad's 9 Crew, there is probably not much amusement as they go about there work, switching the companies main yard Duquesne Yard, in Duquesne, PA.
Today the crew utilizes URR MP15's 32 & 18 to go about the days business of sorting the freight for customers and interchange to both railroads and U.S.S Edgar Thompson Works across the river.
Another point of view would be my form of "amusement" watching the crew go about switching the yard with the pair of "butt head" switchers.
Finally the ultimate point of view would the the "amusement" of the people enjoying themselves not far around the corner at Kennywood Amusement Park. Maybe if they are lucky, they can get some amusement by watching the URR crew from a higher vantage point while enjoining the amusement park.
Union Railroad's 10 crew is almost done with their run up to ET as they pass an abandoned tower on the west end of Duquesne yard. Moments after I hit the shutter button on the drone controller, the whole screen went black. The controller was still on and was showing connected, but I had nothing to fly by. After trying everything else I shut off the controller, and as it was powering back on the drone showed up above my head and started to auto land. Now I'm up to two times auto retrun to home has saved me.
Looking at Duquesne on a map, this Midwesterner would never have guessed it was pronounced "Doo-cain". With US Steel's large Edgar Thomson Works in the background, the Union's 66A crew pulls through the yard with a train of coke empties for the Irvin Works.

No fewer than nine Union Railroad MP15DCs are on hand at Duquesne, PA. A 5-unit set led by URR 21 is stopped on the Port Perry bridge with an empty coke train while a 4-unit set led by URR 19 shoves a caboose around the wye at J Interlocking.

Summer-like evenings seem to draw people out of their homes. So many were walking with children in strollers, sitting on stoops with a drink, going to the local market, talking with neighbors, or just sitting and watching all around them while longing for the warmth to stay awhile. Duquesne, PA

URR 19 & 29 lead a train off the wye as a train led by URR 18 & 27 depart from the Duquesne Yard. The two trains would run side by side across the bridge over the Monongahela River.
CR 6585 leads UDM41A at MP17 on the Mon Line at Duquesne, PA.
CR 6833 leads a Westbound on the the Port Perry Branch at Duquesne, PA on August 2, 1997. The train is crossing the Monongahela River and will enter the Mon Line, which is out of sight and located just below the bottom of the photo.
URR 26 leads a move that pulled down behind the Duquesne Industrial Park and could be easily photographed from the public road that wraps around the park. The train pulled down this far before making a reverse move.

NS 1022 leads a GE locomotive on a coal train at the 18 signals on the Mon Line just South of Duquesne, PA.
