Jatiluwih village in Penebel District, north of Tabanan, has paddy fields following the contours of terraced land against the background of spellbinding Mount Batukaru and Mount Agung use traditional Balinese irrigation known as subak, Bali's community-based water control management system. The best part of the plum blossoms is they have a wonderful fragrance. The second best part is that they attract these small birds. I thought I caught this one, but seems he might have been thinking the same thing.

Happy Vernal Equinox Day, everyone. It’s the first day of spring, and a holiday here in japan, so many are out and enjoying the kawazu cherry blossoms. It’s crazy windy outside, so this may be one of the last days of them too.

A small road winds through the landscape of the Flemish Ardennes, somewhere in between Deinze and Oudenaarde.
In Japan, cherry blossoms are king! This is a yaeshidarezakura, or weeping cherry with more than 5 petals on the flower. It's a beautiful flower!
