The Flickr Finnåsvika Image Generatr

A photo from last year's winter break, of this beautiful raptor that I also photographed several times this Easter break.

It's a now 10 years old male white-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla), ringed in a nest in Tysvær furter south and called N4 62.

After some years on other places like Karmøy island, it has spent it's adult life on the island of Bømlo, where I'm from and have taken these photos.

Hopefully I will meet this beauty again.

A wonderful encounter on Easter Eve two weeks ago.

I love when the white-tailed eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla) get this close while expecting to get fish from us ♡

This one is a male, ringed and called N4 62. I photographed it during two days both this Easter break and last year's winter break.

Now it is turning 10 years old. It was ringed in a nest in Tysvær, one hour and so by car south of the island I'm from called Bømlo, where it has spent its adult life.

With their wingspan of up to 2,5 meters, the white-tailed eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla) have the largest wingspan of the Norwegian birds.

I hope to photograph them again during Easter break on the island I'm from.

One of the 17 (!) white-tailed eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla) we met at sea one morning, the last time I visited the island I'm from.

This one is a male, ringed and called N4 62, and it was nearly 9 years old when I photographed it.

It was ringed in a nest in Tysvær, one hour and so by car south of the island I'm from called Bømlo, where it has spent its adult life.

From one of the wonderful mornings at sea last weekend, together with the white-tailed eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla).

We met 17 of them in total that morning, among about 1/5 of the islets surrounding the island I´m from.
