Heuer grünt bzw. blüht im Garten noch nichts, voriges Jahr war es ganz anders, da ist im Garten schon fast alles aufgeblüht !

This year nothing is green or blooming in the garden, last year it was completely different as almost everything in the garden was already blooming !

I spent a happy couple of hours wandering around the gardens at Borde Hill on Thursday afternoon. Everything is beginning to come back to life and it's was lovely to see colour and sunshine again. :)

It is a rainy Spring day here and the crocuses are closed up tight. I guess they don't like the cooler weather...neither do I. 😂

First visit to our wood for almost a month, and what a difference. Spring has definitely arrived - lots of flowers (even the first bluebells are showing) and fresh green leaves.

Pussy-willows are the first sign of spring.

Just in time: The blossom opened this morning.

Cassia javanica, known as the pink -or rainbow- shower tree, graces gardens with its cascading clusters of pink flowers. Flowering from spring to early summer.
