Replacing an earlier scanned 6"x4" print with a better version 20-Apr-18, plus Topaz DeNoise AI 10-Jan-24.
First flown with the McDonnell Douglas test registration N3004C in Sep-90, this aircraft was delivered to Irish Aerospace Ltd as G-DCAC in Nov-90 and was stored until it was leased to Airtours International Airways in Mar-91.
They only kept it for five years and it was returned to the lessor in Jan-96. It was leased to Edelweiss Air as HB-IKM in Mar-96 (see story below!). The aircraft was returned to the lessor in Feb-99, re-registered EI-CRH and leased to Meridiana SpA (Italy) the following day.
Meridiana was renamed Meridiana Fly in Feb-10. It returned to the lessor in Feb-12 and was stored at Marana, AZ, USA. It was re-registered N598SC in May-12 and was sold to Jetran LLC in Oct-12.
The aircraft remained stored until it was leased to Insel Air International Curacao as PJ-MDG in Dec-13. It was transferred to Insel Air Aruba as P4-MDG in May-14. The aircraft was withdrawn from use and stored in Feb-16.
Note: As is customary in the aircraft leasing business, the aircraft was repainted into Edelweiss livery by Airtours before it was returned to the lessor. On completion of the repaint the aircraft did a local acceptance/test flight at Manchester on 19-Mar-96 and went straight back into the paint shop to be painted again... apparently it wasn't the right shade of red!!! Oops!

"S/N" is the aircraft's serial number. "L/N" is a Boeing code denoting what order the airframe came off the production line. "F/N" refers to an individual airline's fleet numbering system. Not all airlines use a fleet number; not all manufacturers use a line number.
