On the 12th of July 2020, Hamilton Model Engineers Incorporated held a re-opening day following their long shut down that was required during the country's recent lock down period.
The day was a thumping success and the railway became so overwhelmed with visitors that they had to stop admissions later in the afternoon. There had been a couple of locomotive failures and the two trains that were running were full to capacity on every trip.
Founded in 1931 and incorporated in 1936, HME Inc. have, since 1983, been located within Minogue Park in Hamilton, utilising in excess of 1.6Km of dual gauge track.
Possibly the most complete photo I have of the Army Team from Christmas dinner in the mess hall.
