NS local from Decatur, IL to Bloomington, IL, D32, is making it's way through rural central Illinois. A pair of ex Burlington Northern SD40-2's lead, with leader being Ex BN 7186. This is along NS's Bloomington District, with this being ex NKP track.

NS 3547 accompanied by three other SD40-2’s take D36 South on May 6th past the NS installed signals just south of town. The Bloomington District features a handful of Wabash signals but it does have a handful of NS installs & even fewer Vader’s (thankfully).
NS 3547 leading D36 South past the Wabash signals in Osman, IL. This D36 was running hours late, usually it runs in mostly darkness. 4 SD40’s past some old searchlights. Got to love the Bloomington District! Truly a line stuck in the past.
NS 3547 & then 3 more NS SD40-2’s lead the NS D36 South through Lodge, IL. The Bloomington District is a line stuck back in previous times for the most part & the small town of Lodge is a prime example of that. This D36 was running a few hours later than normal which made the pure daylight chase from Gibson City to South of Monticello possible. More shots to come!
