The entrance of YoY from the side of SpeedZone near Goliath. It has some similarities with elements that we also see in the Wilderness section of the park. The wood seems to come from the wooden rollercoaster Robin Hood demolished in 2018.
YoY
YOY is a dueling steel roller coaster in Walibi Holland, built by Rocky Mountain Construction.
Early 2023, the director of Walibi Holland announced that two new roller coasters will be built on the site between Goliath, Condor and Xpress: Platform 13. In December of that year, preparatory work began to demolish the old buildings. Previously, the green service was located here and in 2023 the haunted houses The Final Slayride and Urban Explhorror.
While construction progressed and two roller coasters were slowly being built on the construction site, the name of the new attraction was announced on 24 September 2024 at the IAAPA Expo Europe amusement park trade fair. On 11 December, the highest point of the roller coaster was celebrated during construction.
The pre-opening took place on 4 April 2025, and on the first opening day of the season, 5 April, the official opening took place for the press and invited guests. Here YOY was welcomed by "salutes" from adjacent roller coasters Goliath, Condor and Xpress: Platform 13, with fireworks being shot from these tracks. There was also matching entertainment during the opening ceremony.
YOY's Thrill track has 6 inversions. That is the most inversions for a roller coaster in the park. The attraction also has a high five element, where it seems as if you can almost touch the guests in the other train.
Both tracks have two trains and a striking appearance. The fronts of the trains are designed according to their respective theme. The green trains are decorated with a silver color with shapes of leaves, and for the blue trains this is done in the form of waves.
