Perspectiva del anden central de la estación de Rossio en la Baixa Lisboa. Esta nave de grandes proporciones, es una obra de Gustave Eiffel, es una estructura de hierro forjado de 120 metros de longitud por casi 80 de ancho y se eleva del suelo 21 metros. fue construida entre 1886 y 1887, tiene nueve vias y nueve andenes de entre 130 y 208 metros de longitud. Una maravilla de la ingeniería de finales del siglo XIX.

A view of the central platform of Rossio Station in Baixa Lisbon. This massive structure, the work of Gustave Eiffel, is a wrought-iron structure measuring 120 meters long by almost 80 meters wide and rising 21 meters from the ground. Built between 1886 and 1887, it has nine tracks and nine platforms measuring between 130 and 208 meters in length. A marvel of late 19th-century engineering.
