Another magical walk on the bay side.
What I love about Sandy Hook, NJ, is that you have the ocean on one side and the bay on the other, just a short walk.
Once thing we've been doing since we moved, we sometimes wake up super early to catch the sun rise on the beach, about an hour drive from us. It is so peaceful, almost deserted, gulls and other birds hanging out with you. we feel like we're alone in this world.
Waking up early, for a sunrise photo walk, is always worth it. Even if you forget the camera card and return home to retrieve it, smiling.
We visit, for a mere few minutes just before sunset, Sandy Hook Beach. Stroodle doesn’t hesitate rushing back to the truck which is very unusual. The weather feels like January, for sure.
I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend, regardless of the weather conditions.
Stroodle and I walked at Sandy Hook Beach and although it was cold, the sunshine felt amazing.
With all the negative news and events, it was a much needed escape amidst the fresh air.
