On the black sands of Diamond Beach, tiny ice fragments glisten like diamonds scattered by an invisible hand. The contrast between the dark volcanic shore and the crystalline transparency of the glacial blocks creates a magical, almost otherworldly atmosphere. The ocean waves, in constant motion, gently caress the coast with a softness that contrasts the raw power of the Icelandic landscape.

Il contrasto tra l’oscurità della spiaggia vulcanica e la trasparenza cristallina dei blocchi glaciali crea un’atmosfera magica, quasi ultraterrena. Le onde dell’oceano, in costante movimento, accarezzano la riva con una delicatezza che contrasta con la forza primordiale del paesaggio islandese.

Today's video is Dovercourt Lighthouse Fine Art Photography. I take you through my equipment setup and workflow for Fine Art Long-exposure Photography. I photographed Dovercourt Lighthouse at High Tide from several different angles and heights. This gave me the opportunity to create some light Ethereal Fine Art type image’s of the Lighthouse.
The Cast-iron towers of Dovercourt Lighthouse were built in 1863. They were built as leading lights, guiding ships navigating the estuary of the river Stour near the port of Harwich. The Low Lighthouse is approx 27 feet high and mounted on four legs.
Conditions were challenging due direct harsh sunlight. But that was part of the aim of this video to show that fine art photography can be shot in any condition and any time of the day.
