My sister taking her permitted 'morning constitutional' and out for a early morning walk around Southampton Common on this most unusual of Easter Sunday's.
We decided to revisit the Watkins Path again and to see how far up we could get up towards Snowdons summit before we lost the light and the temp and wind forced us back down...we did quite well and just about reached half way up Snowdon before the onset of tiredness,dropping temps and and dusk forced us back.

It's late in the day as I walk along the Virgin River deep in Zion Canyon. The lowering sun sends a shaft of light between two formations as if to highlight a grove of Cottonwood trees. Far off in the center Angels Landing can be seen. It was so quiet I could hear the burbling water and the birds singing.
