This old time store has everything - I keep telling myself to stop here and get some Axe handle wedges before they shut down .
The first passenger train to depart from East Grinstead to Sheffied Park since 1958, left at 09:45 on Saturday 23rd March 2013 with E4 class No. 473 on the front and P class No. 323 "Bluebell" and A1 class No. 55 "Stepney". Video taken with Canon A1000IS compact digital camera hand over the top of a high wire mesh fence and held high above my head with crowds of people either side and behind me. I could not see the camera display screen to check if I had the camera lined up straight. It was snowing and bitterly cold. I was extremely pleased with the results when I got home and watched the film on my laptop !Please allow the video to load fully before playing. Thank you
The toucan makes an amazing FOURTH July 4th appearance! A little touch-up and this bird is gonna celebrate another smudge-free Independence Day. I keep fixing it gently with hair spray and working back on top of the art each year... nice build up of color and layers!

This place was pretty sweet inside. The owners of Pann's also used to run a similar restaurant in Hawthorne, California called Holly's. Holly's was where they filmed all the diner scenes in "Pulp Fiction." Unfortunately, it's no longer standing.
...the best biscuits in Los Angeles. According to some magazine, at least.
