El 7 de julio de 1930 fallece Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle, escritor escocés creador de dos de los personajes más universales de la literatura: Sherlok Holmes y el Dr. Watson, aunque según he visto fue bastante prolífico a la hora de escribir y no se dedicó en exclusiva a las investigaciones de Holmes aunque las mismas, siguen siendo origen de múltiples versiones cinematográficas, literarias y series de tv.
