It didn't help that my socks had been rain-soaked 1-2 days earlier and 1 microgram of a twig-bit got into one of them, and if I stopped to do foot care I would promptly get eaten by insects, sooooo.
The blister broke that afternoon. I washed it with a cemetery hose, and soap of course :D and put on a bandaid and stuff. But I broke off the hike early because of this motherfucker and the Ceratopogonidae. Either of those things on its own would have been enough reason to break... :p
