We visited Villecroze this morning to see the vet with Bob (routine, nothing serious) and after almost a week of heavy rain the skies were blue and it was a glorious start to the Easter weekend.

After processing this photo I thought the tree looked a tad sacred what with the bright white stones in a semi-circle at its base and then the upright polls in the vineyard. Or, perhaps, I just have a vivid imagination 😊

I took this solely because of the amazing light which was shining very brightly onto the trees and it made it appear that they were marching towards the light

This is a sideways look at the interesting looking avenue of platane (plane) trees I have photographed in the past. Bob took us for a walk yesterday in the area where they are so I couldn't pass up another opportunity to take a shot of them albeit from a different angle. As you can see, the weather was beautiful although that's changed today with a drop in temperature and lots of rain about to hit us
Bob took us for a lovely walk in the sun amongst this vineyard. The vines are 'asleep' for winter, saving their energy for the spring and summer.
