Design Challenge entry: 'Bronze seagrass on mid blue by Su_G' in a tablewear mockup with cocktail napkins (c/o Roostery)
My entry in Spoonflower's Small-Scale Summer Design Challenge.

I considered doing plastic rubbish as it is the major thing flooding our beaches this summer, but couldn’t bring myself to it. Instead I went back to the past for inspiration, before plastic began. I can imagine this design looking fabulous on a swimsuit or summer tote (as per the design brief), which I found a useful criterion to assess my ideas (although I'm sure a more skillful designer could make even plastic rubbish look sexy).
