This wall was kind of a mystery to me. I used to walk the tracks here fairly often more than a decade ago as it was this really gritty industrial area (see attached photos) and you were led into the GE complex. The wall was put up as a safety barrier for the townhomes which were built 8-9 years ago. A writer told me about the wall almost a decade a ago and I visit it every so often now. I had been having burgers next door for ages and not known this was back there! The wall is fully visible when you are at track level, and invisible from the brush when you are in the hydro fields and even when you go in on the garbage piled pathway. This summer the area was totally clear cut so you could finally see the whole wall in context. Well 75% of it...because to the right, it veers off and keeps going.
