"Give us a kiss" - kangaroos at Wilsons Prom Wildlife Walk

The Prom Wildlife Walk takes you across open grasslands to view kangaroos, wombats, wallabies and emus. We saw kangaroos only, and all anymals have a bright marks-labels (I wished they would leave them alone)

It is kangaroo mother with overgrown joey.

We saw kangaroos only, but I was attracted to these low clouds rolling on the top of hills in the distance. The clouds were outcome of the recent storm.

Wilsons Promontory National Park,
Last morning in Wilsons prom, I came here hoping for a swim, but it was really "unfriendly" weather for a swimmer, and it was deserted, not a sole for usually very busy beach.

You may have to hunt to find the bird hiding in this photo. Wilson's snipe have superb cryptic coloration and can blend right in with surrounding reeds in their wetland habitat. I took this photo on Saturday and it was the first Wilson's snipe I've seen this spring. They spend the winter in the southern U.S. and nest in wetlands across the northern tier of U.S. states and much of Canada.
