I went for lunch at a pub along the Worcester and Birmingham Canal. The walk up the flight of locks was very pleasant and there were several lock cottages along the way. Here is a Quintessential English Scene of the canal and one of the cottages.

Was hoping to get the new wetland lake at the Birmingham Life Sciences Park to the right of here, a view I spotted from the train going down to Longbridge.

Took this heading to Five Ways, but bright sunshine over the canal junction of the Lapal Canal.

A freezing cold midday walk from Bournville to Selly Oak, mixed weather with either fog or sunshine.


The railway bridge here is too high for photos, but the canal bridge, was just about able to get my camera over for a photo.

Was sometimes foggy, sometimes clear and sunny, then foggy again.

Was gusty blustery windy rainy weather due to Storm Bert.

Was going to go into The Mailbox, then went around by those tram tracks towards Holliday Street and Berkley Street, and back up to Broad Street instead.
