It's not often I upload photos out of sequence, as I'm a bit OCD about that, but here goes. This Stagecoach (North West) Switch Solo is seen here on its first day, or second day in service, as it was tracking as withdrawn 47140, PX54EOY. Registered in late 11/2024, it is the second of seven for the Barrow-in-Furness depot to replace some of the Solo M850 'PX54' reg. stalwarts which have amassed twenty years service bar one day. Those initial eighteen, 47130-47, were later joined by another two from Preston, 47148/9, the latter of which is still in service. This brand new one arrived at Barrow earlier last week. It is seen here at Ramsden Square, Barrow-in-Furness, when operating delayed Service 3 15:15 Newbarns - Barrow Town Centre - Ormsgill, on 03/12/2024. © Peter Steel 2024.
