46 014 is another revived former BDZ locomotive. A few years ago TBD bought the loco from BDZ and sent it in Romania for major overhaul. Since several days the locomotive is entered in operation and serving the trains of the private operator.

The private Bulgarian railway operator TBD-TP is continuing slowly to increase its locomotive fleet. With the revival of the former BDZ electric locomotive 46 006, they have already 8 electric locomotives, three of which are class 46 (LE 5100). TBD bought the loco from BDZ after it was abandoned from the state operator for more than 20 years. Since the end of 2023 46 006 is again in regular use after a major overhaul in Romania. On the photo the loco is hauling a regular train with empty coal cars towards Aldomirovtsi station.
A trainspotting video with the loco is available here:

The 2023 addition to the fleet of TBD-TP is another Electroputere 060-EA machine that has spent some time in service across the Balkans in the past.
On the photo it is seen with a 30+ rake of coal empties forming freight train 30511 from Golemo Selo to Dimitrovgrad, making a short pause at Svetovrachene to allow the passenger traffic in front to gain some leeway.
Recently renovated locomotive 44 092 of TBD-TP leads an empty coal train towards Beli breg mine. After buying the locomotive from BDZ a few years ago, they repaired it on their own and although the overhaul was pretty slow, the locomotive is already in service. I don't know if due to the fact that the repairs took quite a long time or because the locomotive had some problems in the beginning, TBD decided to send the next Skoda, which they bought from BDZ - 44 110, to the Czech Republic for overhauling.
46 109 is the newest addition in TBD's fleet and the first six-axle electric locomotive which they own. Bought from Constantin Grup (Romania), the locomotive has been painted in TBD's livery and it is serving trains in Bulgaria from only two days. Initially the locomotive has been owned by the Serbian Railways (ŽS, ex-JZ), after that it has been bought by Constantin Grup. We will see in the next months how it will perform with the heavy coal trains for Bobov dol power plant. Currently this is the sixth electric loco of TBD and the first non-Skoda loco from their fleet. Interesting fact is that 3 years ago TBD bought from BDZ Cargo 2 electric locomotives class 46, but currently no one of them has been entered in service. That's why this purchase of 46 109 (ex-40-1097-7) was totally unexpected.
On the photo 46 109 is waiting for a green light with empty coal train at Voluyak station, while the grimy 44 143 is leaving the station with full train for Bobov dol power plant.

44 092 is the 6th Skoda locomotive of TBD-TP which they bought from BDZ. Two years ago the locomotive was in awful condition, but now is completely overhauled and it is looking very refreshing. On the photo it has just arrived at Voluyak station with one of the overhauled in CMZO in Czech Republik Skoda of BDZ - 44 087.
Diesel locomotive 06 301 of TBD-TP (ex-60 0819) is leaving Stanyantsi station with full coal train.

44 072 of TBD-TP passes over the international road E80 near Kalotina (BG) with a coal train from Stanyantsi mine. At this place in the next months a big reconstruction will take place. Due to the building of the highway, this old iron bridge will be destroyed. The railway line will be temporary shifted, while the rough construction of the highway is ready. Then the railway line will be returned on its old place, but on a new bridge over the highway. On the left side of the photo, a small temporary bridge is already build, on the place where the line will be temporary shifted. A lot of work has to be done here, and surely the place will look quite different after the works over. But this iconic iron bridge will definitely missing.

...as well as the usual variety of trains. On track 3 locomotive 43 542 is awaiting departure time with a special train of extra-sized building components. On track 2 locomotives 44 083 and 44 143 of TBD-TP are in transit with a full coal train from Stanyantsi to the Bobov Dol power plant. Track 1 is occupied by a catenary maintenance machine barely visible in the distance.
