Les locomotores 060-EA dels CFR (Caile Ferate Romane) formen una serie de 1076 unitats basades en el disseny ASEA de les locomotores Rb de SJ. Les primeres 10 unitats van ser construïdes per ASEA durant l'any 1965. A partir d'aquí van ser construïdes per Electroputere a Craiova, que va asignar la denominació LE5100. Aquestes locomotores van ser renumerades dins de la serie 40 de CFR. Actualment podem veure algunes locomotores en altres països com Hungria. A la fotografia veiem a la 400865 de THM (Train Hungary Magánvasút), construida per Electroputere durant l'any 1989 i que va entrar en servei a CFR amb la numeració 40-0865.

44289 (Rusovce-Mecsekalja Cserkút) The romanian ASEA locomotive of the MMV company is passing through the famous canyon at Szár towards Budapest. The train was heading from the Bratislava Slovnaft refinery to the Mecsekalja-Cserkút MOL storage.

46 030 is pushing hard from the back of freight train 30625 (Pirdop - Razdelna) while it was climbing towards Anton station on the Sub-Balkan railway line. Leading locomotive was 46 040.

After passing through the 5 tunnels forming the spiral at Klisura, locomotive 46 124 is on the last bridge before the station of Klisura hauling along freight train 30623 Pirdop-Burgas. The wagons are loaded with copper concentrate from Serbia to the port of Burgas.

46 002 of BDZ Cargo is passing through Dolno Ezerovo station with freight train from Pirdop. A nice meeting with 07 663 of DB Cargo performed. Untill a few years ago it was a very unusual sight for Ludmilla to appear at this station, but in the past two-three years the trains from the branch line to Debelt are hauled by DB Cargo and sometimes by Port Rail which are using class 06 diesels for them.

Locomotive 46 030 rolls down from the mountain with 26 empty sulphuric acid tanks going back from Razdelna to Aurubis Pirdop

In its fifth year of running under the BDZ Cargo logo, the daily copper train from Burgas to Pirdop saw a major change in the shape of new E- and T-cars which replaced completely the old mixture of 4- and 6-axle wagons.

46 014 and 44 143 of TBD-TP ahead of freight train 50515 at Voluyak station near Sofia.
46 014 is another revived former BDZ locomotive. A few years ago TBD bought the loco from BDZ and sent it in Romania for major overhaul. Since several days the locomotive is entered in operation and serving the trains of the private operator.

46 014 is the fourth locomotive from the LE5100 that TBD received. This one and her sister 46 006 are ex BDZ locomotives, which tbd purchased before several years. The next one should be 46 016 which by the end of the year should on it's new home.

It is 07.53 on 13 July 2023 and the night traffic coming from the West is making its way to Burgas. Locomotive 46 045 is leading train 30621 from Pirdop to Burgas with a consist roughly equally split between sulphuric acid tanks and empty ore wagons all heading to the port.
