Cuckoo Bee - Nomada species (male?, and mating pair in one image)
Tentative ID--opinions welcome!
Nomada bees are kleptoparasites, laying their eggs in the burrows of ground-nesting bees such as Andrena. Females lack pollen baskets, so resemble wasps. They are quite diverse--the genus has ~280 North American species.
