On Sunday 24/3/2024, a very overpowered 1513s (empty Aurizon grain to Gladstone) is seen approaching Gawler River (SA) with gwu013-alf24-alf19 in charge. On this day alf24 (which I don’t think has even led since its recent overhaul was finished by September 2023) was under test, probably should’ve led to give it a real test.
On Saturday 2/9/2023, 1451s (empty Aurizon grain to Bowmans) is seen approaching the Gawler River bridge (just north of Virginia, SA) with CLP17-cm3309 in charge.
Despite GWA being taken over by 1rail by early 2020, CLP17 still carries G&W logos.
On Saturday 26/8/2023, a very overpowered 1475s (empty Aurizon grain to Snowtown) is seen approaching the Gawler River (between Virginia-Two Wells, SA) with bland gwa004-gwa001 in charge.
For unknown reasons the twin ac units pictured have been regulars on export grain workings for a few weeks.
