A group of vultures at a kill
The female duck was swimming with her three ducklings when a male who was paired with another female suddenly attacked the ducklings pushing one under the water, in comes mum and beats the whatsits out of him, it was a brutal attack by the female but a mum has to do what she has to do to protect her young. A few minutes later she rose up and flapped her wings in victory, exit one bruised male and one mum with her three ducklings intact. Well done mama duck!
The male duck came over to the female duck at speed and tried to drown one of her three ducklings, the female duck went crazy using all the force and strength she had to fight of the male duck, at one point I thought the female was going to be killed as well but with one last assault on the male flying at him repeatedly beating him with her wings and stamping on the male as well she won the battle, she is one brave mother.... true love

Radfahrer bei Verkehrsunfall tödlich verletzt
Krefeld (ots) - An der Kreuzung von Charlottering und Werner-Voß-Straße ist am Donnerstag (8. Mai 2025) ein Radfahrer tödlich verletzt worden. Nach ersten Erkenntnissen bog der Lkw-Fahrer von der Werner-Voß-Straße rechts in den Charlottering ab. Dabei wurde der 86-jährige Radfahrer von dem Fahrzeug erfasst.
Er starb noch an der Unfallstelle. Der Lkw-Fahrer wurde in ein Krankenhaus eingeliefert. Vier Zeugen mussten wegen eines Schocks behandelt werden.
Wegen der Sperrungen kam es im Umfeld der Unfallstelle zu erheblichen Verkehrsstörungen.

I was actually wearing my Kill Your T.V shirt when I took this. I believe the throws are from ‘99, there was another puzle hollow just up the line over the river with the same look and a time stamp. That one has since been ruined by toys. Also note the old searchlight signal from the Great Northern Era, here at the last stretch of the BNSF Wayzata subdivision which runs to Wilmar.
