A Sugar Glider high up in the trees in the Australasia section in the Singapore Zoo. I am not putting up too much information about this critter as it is so far away and partly hidden amidst the green leaves. Still, some notes are in order as this is the enclosure for this critter. The Sugar Glider is a small, omnivorous, arboreal, and nocturnal gliding Possum. It is more commonly called the Sugar Glider due to its preference for sugary foods like sap and nectar and its ability to glide through the air, much like a Flying Squirrel. Further notes about the Singapore Zoo itself appear elsewhere in this album. (Singapore, Sept. 2023)
