One of the few vestiges of Convention Place Station still left standing (and not for long) -- I just thought this shot of the buildings through the tinted glass was interesting.

Oh hey -- there's the actual sign for 1600 Seventh Avenue (1976, 498 ft, 33 floors)!

I love this shot, as the snow largely obscures the fact that this is just a parking lot, overlooking I-5, a stretch of the Seattle skyline beyond.

I met up with Vinaya at the building where she works, 1600 Seventh Avenue, to return the glove Anubhab left in our backseat the previous Saturday. This soothing screen was mounted on the wall in between the elevators.

The aforementioned jumble of buildings to the left.

As you can see, this part of downtown is looking especially dense with high-rise buildings -- the quick result of increases in height limits in the area in recent years. In this shot alone, there are no fewer than six high-rises clearly visible that either are currently under construction or have been constructed within the past five years, and ten that have been built within the past eight years.
