EVA Air Airbus A321 B-16223 taking off in tandem off the center runway
These distinctive Nez Casse (they get their nickname from their apparent broken nose) have been on borrowed time for a good few years. During our recent trip to Toulouse we saw a good few in charge of express services including the Marseille to Bordeaux route.
7254 seen here is approaching Toulouse station on a particularly filthy morning with one such working.

A close up of the cab of Class 35 7054 as it stand's in the sunlight at Bristol Marsh junction. 7054 was new to Bristol Bath Road November 1962 and after just over only ten year's in service was withdrawn December 1972. Other stored loco's here that day were: 7009/23/54/56/76/89/96/97. Warship 824 Highflyer . Class 08 3810 and Class 45 114 were also here. 18/07/1973.

Class 35 7056 withdrawn 01 /1972 look's in a sorry state roller blind's ripped out ,window's smashed, by this time there were only a few Hymek's left in service mainly at Old Oak Common. there was a dump of them here at Marsh Junction Bristol , 7009/23/54/56/76/89/96/97. plus withdrawn Warship 824 Highflier. I spent this day photographing at Bristol, and decided to come and take a few pictures of loco's on the dump. A intresting loco seen that day was Class 50 400 I belive it was at Bristol for crew training it was on the depot at Gloucester that day. 18/ 7/ 1973.

Waiting for the cutter's torch in the yard at Swindon Works are Class 35's 7054 still in green livery and 7097 7098. All had been withdrawn December 1972. Swindon Works 01/02/1975.

Vrijdag 4 maart jl. was het mooi weer om er even op uit te trekken richting Holten en Rijssen. Vanwege een gedeeltelijke stremming van de Betuweroute worden momenteel een aantal goederentreinen omgeleid via Bad Bentheim.
De gehele dag was zonovergoten met een strakblauwe lucht, ideaal om treinen te fotograferen. Behalve goederentreinen werden ook personentreinen gefotografeerd. NS treinstel 2305 is als trein 7054 onderweg naar Apeldoorn.
