Now firmly parked up at South Terminal awaiting repairs after overrunning the runway on landing a week and a half prior.
The aftermath of what was an eventful Tuesday morning at YVR. This Boeing 767 operating as "CargoJet (CJT) 2387" from Hamilton overran Runway 08L (at the 26R end) by over 1,800ft in the early hours of the morning. Thankfully the crew of 3 were alright and the aircraft does not seem to have too much damage to it. Although it looks like it, the nose gear did not collapse but rather dug into the muddy ground.
It is also worth noting that two nights prior to this incident, the aircraft ran its right main gear off the taxiway and into the grass when pulling into Apron 8 (CargoJet Apron)
2 days later C-GAZI is back on solid ground. It was towed to the AC North Hangar for the night and later repositioned to the South Hangar for repairs the following morning.
YVR was quick to get the aircraft off the grass and get the North Runway back open again. The day after the incident they already have the heavy equipment hard at work lifting the nose up and laying down a pathway to be able to push the aircraft back onto the runway.
Originally delivered to Qantas in 1988, ABX Air 767 N362CM is on the cargo ramp at Memphis International Airport. It flew in from CVG and will leave soon for MSY.
