My table didn't bargain for the free slice of pistachio with raspberry cake so by the time this dessert appeared, my table was stuffed! It was thus with pity that we left much of the dessert unfinished. I love cinnamon roll and this was prepared with Brioche and deep-fried till the edges were crunchy! Decadence to the hilt!

I didn't had high hopes for this dish honestly as I have encountered some pretty tough-chewing Porchetta before but the dish proved itself a star! The pork belly was meltingly soft with the flesh (and fat) molten, easily enjoyed with the earthy and sweet chestnut puree, beautifully punctuated at moments with tangy bursts of cranberry frutiness.
A deliciously exemplar execution!

I stayed up late the night before Twelfth Night, and finished watching some Christmas specials I had saved to watch and never got to. This is a childhood favorite, the epic length Yogi's Christmas (which was originally a miniseries).
