Athelstan Museum (please read)

I'm not going to make a habit of giving touristic information about every place I've visited, but I'd like to make an exception for Malmesbury and its local history museum, the Athelstan Museum. A volunteer gave us interesting information about the Malmesbury Coin Hoard, a collection of nearly 1,300 Roman coins which were found in a field, cleaned, and are now on display.
Other things I liked in Malmesbury were the Abbey with the tomb of King Athelstan (the first King of England), the High Street, the weavers cottages throughout the town, the old silk mills, the Market Cross, and the small waterfall at the long-term Station Road car park. There are photos of several of these places in my stream, but not of all as some (like the tomb) are in places where they are hard to capture, plus I mainly want to post landscapes and flowers.
I would have liked to visit Abbey House Gardens but they are now open to the public on the second Saturday of each month only.
