The scene was illuminated by a single Nikon SB900 speedlight CR fired in Manual mode @ 1⁄128 power through a 24" softbox and triggered by PocketWizard Plus Xs. A steady LED cube with a chocolate-colored gel was placed CL and slightly behind.

Lens: Meyer Optik Görlitz Oreston (zebra) with a 20mm extension tube attached.

Looking back through folders of older photos, I realized it has been a long time since I had been making photos using the iPhone's Hipstamatic app.

This week's theme at The Photo Forum's weekly challenge is to illustrate the letter 'E.'

A hardboiled egg, the weird egg cup thing Kim has, and a well used pizza tray make up this scene. The Hipstamatic app's filters of Lowy Lens and Blackeys XF Film were used in the snap.

The pizza tray is so banged up and creased, no additional textures were needed in post processing.
