I had parked the car just off Bondi Road in Sandbridge Street and then walked down to Bondi Beach. That took me past this iconic backpackers hotel and I thought it was worth a photo or two!!
This legendary Backpackers Hotel was recently sold for $68 million dollars (AUS) and will be re-developed into a mega new hotel complex.

Looking south-west along Praed Street towards the towers of the Great Western Royal Hotel, now the Hilton London Paddington. Before that, on the corner of London Street, was the Load of Hay public house.
In the bottom photo we see Tanner Lane joining Praed Street on the right.

A view along Francis Street in the city's Longwood Medical Area sees the facade of the 1980 brutalist Brigham and Women's Hospital main entrance as well as the imposing chimney of the Medical Area Total Energy Plant, completed in 1986, a tri-generation micro-grid power plant servicing the mission-critical work of the numerous hospitals, research institutions, schools and colleges in the district.
