Per rafforzare il sistema difensivo di Pietrasanta, nel 1324 Castruccio Castracani fece rafforzare la Rocca di Sala e costruire la Rocchetta Arrighina attigua alla Porta a Pisa. Fu lo stesso condottiero che intese imporle questo nome in onore di suo figlio Arrigo.

To strengthen the defensive system of Pietrasanta, in 1324 Castruccio Castracani had the Rocca di Sala strengthened and the Rocchetta Arrighina built next to the Porta a Pisa. It was the same leader who intended to give it this name in honor of his son Arrigo.

An intricated brilliant circular alive abstract for the Festivities, made in collaboration with six of my playful Lovebirds (all siblings, photographed last January when they were still puppies).
Here they seem to integrate with the decorations and lights by merging in the Christmas garland in a sort of camouflage :-))
I hadn't posted all the selected photos taken during that shooting of mine, therefore I thought a good recycling of the unedited ones is pro-active and much ecologic :-)
In reality, I would have tons of photos taken at my beloved parrots as well as at many other subjects but, in this moment, for me the editing and uploading is way too consuming.
